I’ve been looking forward to this one for a while. I think it’s a good one, and I hope you do too.
I was idly looking for something to watch on television the other day, and by God “Last Salute to the Commodore” was on a channel called “Hallmark Movies and Mysteries.” So I watched the last half-hour again. “Last Salute” reminds me of when I was younger and would fiddle with the controls on my parents’ stereo: what happens if I turn the bass way, way up, and the treble as low as possible? Now how does it sound if I do the opposite? What about the left-right balance? What resulted was sometimes awful, sometimes funny, and always weird.
