Submissions

Hello, do you have some sort of idea for a piece on The City Desk? Have you written it? Well, then this is a good page for you to read.

We’re looking for art, longer pieces (up to six grafs), briefs, Friday Facts items- look around the site. If you have something that you think would fit, send it along to thecitydesk-at-gmail.com.

If you do, please follow these simple guidelines-
:: In the subject line of the email, use the following format- “Submission: [Title of Piece]”
:: Please paste the submission into the email, using this format up top-
-Title of Piece
-Your Name
-Email Address

Response time is a variable thing, indeed, and is not indicative of any malice on our part toward you or your work. Honest.

There is no payment, but you are so sweet for thinking that there might be.

Thank you for your attention in this matter, and we look forward to hearing from you.

    Hi,

I would like to write an article for your site, but I am still a little confused on what your blog is about. Is it about “your” city and what makes it interesting? I was thinking maybe about a spot that I enjoy the most in my city. Or maybe my favorite city that I have lived in.

I’m open to suggestions if there is something that you would rather have posted on your site.

    Thanks,

    Steve
