A distinction needs to be made between "latest first snowfall" and "latest first accumulating snowfall", as the actual "latest first accumulating snowfall" happened March 2, in 1968. This fact was reported on this very webpage.

You can also read about the phenomenon in my book, "Snowflake Madness".

And what was decorating the maintenance facility before? Nothing! This is another hypocritical move by city hall, where they claim they are saving energy when in reality they are wasting our tax dollars on new lights and increasing the amount of energy consumed. Outrageous! All I can say is, don't blame me--I didn't re-elect the bums!
